Economic Affairs Committee (E.A.C): Orissa Ramnarine

Economic Affairs Committee (EAC) is charged with ensuring the financial well-being of the congress. The committee is responsible for proposing the annual student congress fee, reviewing the budgets submitted from all chartered student organizations, as well as setting the conference, contingency and challenge grant funds. On a day-to-day basis, EAC strives to provide assistance and information to all students and organizations seeking funding from the congress. EAC meets weekly to provide a forum for student concerns and funding proposals.

Public Relations Committee (P.R.C): Philip Adenodi

Public Relations Committee (PRC) is the marketing branch of student government. The committee develops marketing techniques with the intention of making HUSC visible and accessible to every student on campus. PRC acts as a resource to student organizations regarding promotion and publicity around campus.

Political Affairs Committee (P.A.C): Peter Howitz

Political Affairs Committee (PAC) regulates the rules and procedures of HUSC. This student government. includes informing all students about the workings of parliamentary procedure and the interpretations of HUSC’s Bylaws and Constitution. Additionally, PAC facilitates HUSC elections, performs student organization charter reviews, and guides students interested in forming a new organization through the chartering process. PAC essentially serves as the judicial branch of HUSC.     

Student Organizations Committee (SOC): Ikram Mohamud

Student Organization Committee (SOC) is the direct connection of HUSC to the student organizations. SOC works to improve and keep lines of communication open between the HUSC governing body and the student organizations. The committee also trains student organization leaders to become more effective leaders and improve their respective organization.
